The Tokai University School of Medicine and Tokai University Hospital is located in the heart of Kanagawa, a prefecture a side of Tokyo, holding the second largest population (Approx. 8,890,000 people) in Japan. Tokai University Hospital possesses one of the busiest emergency medical centers in Japan (7500 ambulance and 400 doctor helicopter cases accepted).
The Department of Orthopaedic Surgery started its service in 1975 as a private university hospital with its three founding aims. |
